In most stories, a major named character like Baek Sa-heon would have thick “plot armor” protecting them. But this is a horror story, and those rules are different!
Some fans in the comments are convinced he’s gone because the MC changed the original timeline, meaning no one is safe anymore.
Personally? I don’t think he’s dead yet. Sa-heon is way too popular and smart to get wiped out this early without a massive fight.
My guess is he either has a secret trick up his sleeve or the MC is going to step in right in the nick of time to break the trap in Chapter 36.
